Located
in the Shumaker High-Rise in Cairo, IL. the
Drop-In-Center was initiated in May, 1999.
The Drop In Center is sponsored jointly by the
Psycho Social Rehabilitation Program and the Supported
Housing Program.
It is supervised by PSR and Supported Housing
staff.
The Drop-In-Center is funded through PSR and
Supported Housing Funding.
The
programs are free of charge and are available to adult
consumers who are involved in Delta Center Programming.
Residents of the Shumaker Building are also
welcome to participate in activities.
Transportation is provided or arranged by Delta Center Staff.
Activities/Programming
offered at the Drop-In-Center have been designed to
encourage socialization.
Participation in various activities will give
consumers the opportunity to practice skills in a
comfortable/relaxed setting.
Refreshments
are available during the course of the Drop-In-Center.
New
ideas and volunteers are always welcome.

Drop-In-Center is open 2 days a week; Thursdays from 3 PM to 5 PM
and Saturdays from 1 PM to 4 PM.
